How to Enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) using Google Authenticator (new)
Google Authenticator icon:
- Open the APP STRORE on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap the SEARCH tab (bottom right).
- In the search field type ''GOOGLE AUTHENTICATOR'' and search.
- Look for the official App by Google LLC (icon with the coloured asterisk / new Google Authenticator logo). Confirm the developer is Google LLC before downloading.
- Tap GET (or the cloud/download icon) and authenticate with your Apple ID password to install.
- When the App finishes installing, tap OPEN to Launch it.
- Inside the App you can choose "BEGIN SETUP", scan a QR code or ENTER a setup key to add accounts.
- Open the google PLAY STORE on your Android device.
- Tap the search bar at the top and type "GOOGLE AUTHENTICATOR" .
- Find the official App published by Google LLC ( check the developer name and App icon)
- Tap INSTALL and wait for the App to download and install.
- Open the App an tap GET STARTED.
- Choose scan a QR code or ENTER a setup key to add each account you want to protect.
- Open your web browser.

- Enter your Branch Admin username and password, click on SIGN IN.
- Expand the right drop down menu and select MY ACCOUNT.
- Select PROFILE and click ENABLE 2- FACTOR AUTHENTICATION.
- Please make sure the email address on your profile is correct before setting up the 2-factor authentication.
- In the new window, you need to set the AUTHENTICATION TYPE to GOOGLE AUTHENTICATOR.
- Scan the QR code using Google authenticator App on your device and add the provided code.
- Click ACTIVATE when you are done.
- Enter your Branch Admin username and password as usual and SING IN.
- Open the GOOGLE AUTHETICATOR App on your device and get the 6 digit code, please note the code keeps changing every 30 seconds.
- Enter the code in the authentication field and click SIGN IN.
- There is an option to tick a box to "Remember this device for 30 days", if you tick the box, you will not need to type in an OTP for the next 30 days:
